Editing Department:
Tease Publishing is looking to employ new editors or proofers at this time. If your interested in working with Tease as an editor or proofer, please send a letter of intent with your resume and qualifications to Tonya Nagle at eic@teasepublishingllc.com with EDITING ENQUIRY in the subject.
Art Department:
At this time, Tease Publishing is not looking for new cover or promotional artists. If you are interested in working with Tease Publishing at a later date in this area, please send a letter of intent, along with your work experience, link to your portfolio, and resume to Stella Price at twilight@twilightindustries.net with TEASE ART QUERY
Please Note:
Any applying artist must have a sense of composition, the ability to grow and the knowledge of basic artistic concepts. Artists must have a working knowledge of PSP or Photoshop or both, and be able to create work in 300 dpi in various sizes. They have to have a varied sense of design, and portfolios that do not exhibit this trait will not be considered. All portfolio's must have at least 8-10 covers in it, as well as 3-8 examples of promotional design. Cut and paste artists need not apply. Tease Publishing is looking for only the best and most in tune with the art form for their art department, So if you have just started doing covers, please get some work under your belt before applying.
Marketing Department:
Street Team Leader and members: Tease Publishing will be opening a new promotional venue in Fall 2008. As a street team, members will be asked to give out promotional items (from bookmarks to postcards to buttons to other goodies) at events, conventions and conferences. Applicants need to be highly motivated, enjoy talking to and meeting new people, and have a working knowledge of the books they are touting.
Street Team Leader(s) will be asked to collect promotional materials for events/cons/conferences and distribute the swag at said events to the street team members, and help man the tables at events.
All members will be asked to collect snail mail addresses and email addresses for the newsletter and monthly goodie giveaways.
Compensation/Perks: This is an unpaid position, though street team members will receive free ebook's, print books and in the case of the con goers, apparel for said con. All members will be entered to win monthly street team only drawings, for Tease goodies and print books.
Compensation for Team Leaders: This is an unpaid position to start with, but has the possibility for monetary compensation in the future. Leaders will receive a Street Team Jacket , with their name on it, and a special set of leader specific goodies.
